WVKC MEMBERSHIP
ELIGIBILITY:
There are 4 types of membership open to all persons eighteen(18) years of age and over, who are in good standing with The American Kennel Club and who subscribe to the purposes of The WVKC, and 1 type of membership open to all persons under the age of eighteen(18) who are in good standing with The American Kennel Club and who subscribe to the purposes of The WVKC. These types of membership are:
JUNIOR MEMBER $5.00 yearly
Any person under the age of eighteen(18) in good standing the AKC and subscribing to the purposes of the Club: may not vote or hold office. Junior members may automatically convert to regular membership upon reaching their 18th birthday.
HONORARY MEMBER $15.00 yearly
Any person over the age of eighteen (18) in good standing with the AKC and subscribing to the purposes of the this Club. Honorary members may maintain active/voting status by payment of dues and attending the required number of meetings per year (6).
REGULAR MEMBER $15.00 yearly
Any person over the age of eighteen (18) in good standing with the AKC and subscribing to the purposes of this Club; entitled to voting privileges and may hold any office.
ASSOCIATE MEMBER $15.00 yearly
Any person over the age of eighteen (18) in good standing with the AKC and subscribing to the purposes of this Club. ( Unable to be active and attend the required 6 general meetings per year.) Entitled to all club privileges except voting and office holding.
LIFE MEMBER
Those individuals who have been members for a long period of time (20+) years. Life members pay no
dues but are eligible to vote and hold office.
